8 Things to Include On Your Wedding Website
Creating your Wedding Website can get overwhelming. How do you know the essential information to include? Keep reading for a list of items not to miss!
1. RSVP Information:
Be sure to include how to RSVP, whether it’s by phone, e-mail, or through a website. Be clear with directions if you’re having multiple events.
2. Lodging Accommodations:
Include any and all hotel accommodation information, specifically group discount codes and rates or any special booking website links. If possible, provide exact addresses and directions to hotel(s).
3. Transportation Information:
If you’ll be having transportation to and from your wedding venue, be sure to provide guests with detailed information, specifically regarding pick up and drop off location and timing.
4. Gift Requests/Registry Information:
Provide any specific gift requests and/or links to your wedding registry. A thank you note from the bride and groom is just an additional meaningful touch.
5. Dress Code:
It’s not always obvious what to wear to a wedding, and/or if guests should be changing between events. Be sure to provide guidance on dress code specifics for each individual event.
6. Hashtag:
Don’t forget to include your hashtag so your friends and family can post and follow along your journey through social media! This is especially meaningful for those who can’t make it but still want to be a part of your day.
7. Your Love Story:
It’s your time to shine! Let your loved ones know how you met, your first date, how and when you fell in love, and of course, the proposal! Photos of your journey together are an added visual bonus!
8. Wedding Party:
Give a shout out to your VIPs by sharing fun facts about your crew and how you met.
